INFORMATION ON ORDERING FROM US
About Us
ArtDeals.co.uk's owners have a well established, Quality Fine Art and Graphic Materials shop in the centre of York with a staff of trained artists who have the answers to many queries raised by customers from far and wide. York Art & Framing is a WINSOR & NEWTON PREMIER ART CENTRE.
As well as the products sold on line, the shop carries a huge stock of products for oil, gouache, glass and silk painting products as well as painting accessories. If you get the chance please call in to the shop for a browse around we will be pleased to see you.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the menu on the left or click on Item Search, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. Then follow the on-screen instructions. There is no minimum order value.
Payments and PayPal
We accept debit and credit card payments including Visa, Mastercard, Switch and American Express, as well as PayPal via the PayPal World Bank. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Using PayPal means you can rest assured of thier strict committment to the security of your data although we can not accept any responsibility for PayPal's systems. That said, we know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet.
Should there be a stock issue with your order, your card will not be debited for that item(s) until the item is in stock.
Shipping And Handling
Our standard delivery charge is £3.75 per order, but we are proud that we offer FREE post and packing for orders over £35 in value (not including P&P).
Delivery Schedule
We will normally dispatch your order to you within 3 business days. But please do allow up to 28 days delivery for some items. We will contact you if there has been a problem with your order or a longer delay. Do please email us to let us know if it is urgent.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You do have the the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait and you will be refunded for the items you cancel if they prove harder to get hold of than we anticipated. (Also see PayPal info.)
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added.
Returns
If any item(s) in your order is/are faulty, unsuitable or need(s) returning for any other reason, please return the item(s) unused* within 21 days. We will organise a refund back to the media you paid on. No P&P will be refunded where it has been charged.
*Faulty items may be returned used.

We want you to be happy! Any faulty or sub-standard goods should be returned to artdeals.co.uk stating whether you require a replacement or full refund.

Privacy Policy
Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We do not pass on your details to any third party without prior permission.
We do not store or capture personal information from general users. The Site only logs User's IP addresses that are automatically recognised by the web server. We use a web log analysis and visitor tracking program (Matrixstats) to provide statistics regarding the number of visitors, and which sites referred them. This information is captured at the statistical level, and no information is kept on individual visitors.
